Full-Stack Tech Team Leader

Job description

FACEKI is looking for a full-stack expert in Node.js, React, MERN or MEAN stack to lead its development team. The role works with APIs, MongoDB, Laravel, Plesk, AWS cloud, Docker-based server structure and security.

The position holder works with backend React and Laravel integrating APIs across the entire system architecture, and is responsible for designing, implementing and maintaining RESTful APIs, microservices and databases for SaaS portals. You will work alongside a multi-disciplinary team in an agile environment, and the company wants a quick learner with extensive experience who can manage several projects, including migrating the platform to a different stack when required.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development team
• Design user interactions on web pages
• Develop back-end website applications
• Create servers and databases for functionality
• Ensure cross-platform optimisation for mobile phones and responsiveness of applications
• Work alongside graphic designers on web design features
• See projects through from conception to finished product
• Design and develop APIs
• Meet technical, consumer and compliance needs
• Stay abreast of developments in web applications and programming languages

Requirements

• At least 5 years' experience with the MEAN stack (Node.js + PHP) and React JS
• Some experience and knowledge of machine learning and AI
• MongoDB for databases
• Knowledge of AWS, the shell terminal and AWS Rekognition
• Knowledge of APIs and integrations
• Experience developing and testing disaster recovery processes
• Familiarity with distributed, scalable logging, metrics and alerting solutions
• BSc in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent work experience
• Comfortable with front-end and back-end languages, frameworks and third-party libraries across the full software development life cycle
• Team player with a knack for visual design and utility who can ideate solutions with developers and product managers
• Attention to detail, an analytical mindset and good problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Preferred: experience managing multi-tenant cloud infrastructure and the full agile software development lifecycle
