Job description

Eastern University invites applications for the position of Director, Information and Technology (Office of IT). The office manages and maintains the university's IT infrastructure, information systems and digital services, supports students, faculty and officials, maintains computer laboratories, campus-wide Wi-Fi, CCTV and telecommunications, develops and operates the University Automation System for academic, administrative, financial and student-related activities, and facilitates online payment services, information sharing, data management and system security. Requirements

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Information Systems or a related discipline from a recognized university
• Minimum 12 years of progressively responsible experience in information technology, including at least 5 years in a senior management or leadership role
• Professional certifications such as OCP, PSEM, CISSP, PMP, CCNA/CCNP, Microsoft certification or equivalent are preferred
• Experience in higher education institutions or large technology-driven organizations is preferred
• Computer literacy is essential for the position
