Job description

Tourist Police Headquarters (Bangladesh Police), per circular no. 44.01.2667.676.02.009.26-01/2026 dated 28 September 2026, invites online applications from genuine Bangladeshi citizens of all districts for direct recruitment to the post of Computer Operator (Grade-13, Tk 24,000-58,000). Applications are accepted ONLY online via https://tphq.teletalk.com.bd (window: 1 October 2026 10:00 AM to 25 October 2026 4:00 PM). After submitting the online form, a non-refundable examination fee must be paid within 72 hours via SMS from a Teletalk prepaid number - a real, paid step, not a free one-click apply. Any form of lobbying/influence-peddling on behalf of a candidate results in disqualification.

Responsibilities

• Operate computer systems for official correspondence, data entry and record-keeping at Tourist Police Headquarters
• Prepare documents and reports using MS Office applications

Requirements

• Bachelor's (Honours) degree or equivalent in a Science discipline from a recognized university
• Per the Computer Personnel Recruitment Rules 2019, Schedule-2: must pass the Standard Aptitude Test for the Computer Operator post, with minimum typing speed of 25 words/minute in Bangla and 30 words/minute in English
• Open to candidates from all districts of Bangladesh
• Any form of lobbying or influence-peddling on a candidate's behalf results in disqualification
