Job description

Brain Station 23 is hiring 1 Senior API Platform Engineer (on-site, Dhaka).

Brain Station 23 PLC is looking for an experienced Senior API Platform Engineer with strong expertise in enterprise API gateway implementation, administration, troubleshooting, API lifecycle management, and API security. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Apigee, APISIX, WSO2, OAuth 2.0, OIDC, mTLS, Linux, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and API monitoring.

Office time: Mon - Fri : 11 AM to 8 pm.

Deadline: 2026-10-31.

Responsibilities

• Implement, administer, and troubleshoot enterprise API gateway platforms.
• Work with Apigee, APISIX, and WSO2 API Gateway technologies.
• Manage API lifecycle activities including design, deployment, versioning, monitoring, and retirement.
• Implement API security policies and access controls.
• Configure and manage OAuth 2.0 and OIDC authentication and authorization
• Implement and manage mTLS, SSL/TLS certificates, and certificate lifecycle processes.
• Deploy and manage API platforms in Linux and Kubernetes environments.
• Integrate API platforms with CI/CD pipelines.
• Monitor API performance, availability, traffic, and security.
• Troubleshoot API gateway, networking, authentication, and integration issues.
• Implement API policies such as routing, rate limiting, access control, and traffic management.
• Collaborate with application, cloud, infrastructure, DevOps, and cybersecurity teams.

Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant experience in API engineering, platform engineering, integration, or related fields.
• Strong hands-on experience with Apigee, APISIX, WSO2, or equivalent API gateway technologies.
• Experience in API gateway implementation, administration, and troubleshooting.
• Strong understanding of API lifecycle management and API security.
• Hands-on experience with OAuth 2.0, OIDC, mTLS, SSL/TLS, and certificate management.
• Strong Linux and Kubernetes experience.
• Experience with CI/CD and API monitoring.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Relevant API, Cloud, Security, or Integration certifications will be an advantage.
