As a key part of this, DRC opened an area office in Cox’s Bazar, and a country office in Dhaka.

The CCCM Officer (SMS Technical Officer–Engineer) will lead the technical implementation, monitoring, and quality assurance of shelter, Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR), landslide risk mitigation, and Nature-based Solutions (NbS) interventions across Rohingya camps. Working closely with the Shelter and Settlement Team Leader and Camp Managers, and under the supervision of the CCCM Manager, the Officer will provide technical oversight to CCCM programming, guide field teams, and ensure adherence to technical standards. The role includes supervising volunteers teams, facilitating community engagement during implementation, and ensuring timely and accurate reporting on activity progress.
