Responsibilities

• Develop, train, and optimize ML / Deep Learning models for real-world applications
• Work on NLP, Document AI, and/or Computer Vision projects depending on product needs
• Perform data cleaning, labeling strategy, preprocessing, and feature engineering Evaluate model performance and iterate using metrics (precision, recall, F1, etc.)
• Deploy ML models to production using scalable backend or cloud infrastructure
• Build inference pipelines, APIs, and optimize latency/performance for production usage
• Maintain documentation and version control for datasets, experiments, and model lifecycle
• Collaborate with software engineers to integrate ML models into product pipelines

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in AI/ML Engineering or applied ML development
• Hands-on experience building with LLMs, ML frameworks (PyTorch/TensorFlow), or applied AI
• Strong Python proficiency; comfortable with APIs and data pipelines
• Model training, fine-tuning, and inference
• Solid understanding of: ML fundamentals (supervised/unsupervised learning) Deep learning concepts (CNN, Transformers, attention)
• Nice to have: Experience with Document AI / OCR workflows (e.g., Tesseract, PaddleOCR, LayoutLM, Donut, TrOCR, etc.)
• Nice to have: Experience with LLMs (prompt engineering, RAG, fine-tuning, embeddings)
• Nice to have: Familiarity with tools: HuggingFace Transformers, MLflow / Weights & Biases, Docker, GitHub Actions, CI/CD
• Nice to have: Experience deploying on AWS (Lambda, EC2, SageMaker, S3) or similar platforms
• Nice to have: Knowledge of FastAPI / Flask for ML inference APIs
