About Qii Creative

Qii Creative is a data-led digital agency headquartered in Darwin, Australia, with its full operations team based in Bangladesh. We help brands across Australia and beyond grow through measurable results, not vanity metrics.

Our services cover web design and development, custom software, AI development (chatbots, automation and AI search optimisation), video content creation, SEO, Google Ads, Meta Ads, graphic design and Amazon store management. We work with e-commerce and retail brands, real estate, startups and local service businesses.

We are a lean, independent agency. Senior people work directly on client accounts, and everyone on the Bangladesh team works hands-on with Australian clients, real budgets and real targets from day one.

About the roleYou will be the engineer who sits closest to our clients. You take an Australian business's real problem, such as slow lead follow-up, manual admin or messages piling up across social channels, and ship a working solution into their systems. That might be an AI chatbot, a workflow automation or a custom integration. Unlike a product engineer, you are judged on whether the client uses what you build and gets results from it.

What you will do

• Meet clients (with our Australian team) to understand their workflows, find high-impact AI and automation use cases, and scope practical solutions.

• Build and deploy AI solutions end to end: chatbots, AI agents, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) over client data, and AI search optimisation features.

• Integrate our solutions with client tools: CRMs (HubSpot, GoHighLevel, Salesforce), e-commerce platforms (Shopify, WooCommerce), booking systems, databases and messaging channels (Meta Messenger, Instagram, WhatsApp Business API).

• Build automations and APIs with code, and with tools such as n8n, Make or Zapier where they fit.

• Set up hosting, deployment pipelines and monitoring on AWS, Azure or Google Cloud.

• Troubleshoot issues in client environments and improve reliability, speed and cost.

• Turn repeated client needs into reusable components and templates the team can use on future projects.

• Train client teams, write clear documentation and track adoption and ROI after launch.

• Explain technical trade-offs in plain language to non-technical business owners.

What we are looking for

• 3+ years as a software engineer, ideally in client-facing work such as an agency, consultancy, SaaS implementation or solutions engineering.

• Strong in Python and/or JavaScript/TypeScript (Node.js), with solid SQL and REST API skills.

• Hands-on experience building with LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini or open-source models): prompt design, function/tool calling, RAG and vector databases.

• Experience integrating third-party APIs and webhooks, such as CRMs, payment gateways or the Meta Graph API.

• Comfortable with cloud basics: AWS, Azure or Google Cloud, Docker and CI/CD.

• Front-end skills (React or Next.js) to build simple dashboards and interfaces are a plus.

• Excellent written and spoken English. You will speak directly with Australian clients.

• A consulting mindset: curious about the business problem, comfortable with unclear requirements, and focused on shipping.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience.

How to apply

Send your CV + a 2-minute video portfolio to recruitment@qiicreative.com.au with the role title in the subject line.

Video should cover: your strongest skills · one result you're proud of and exactly what you did · how you use AI in your work · why Qii and what you'd add in 90 days.

PS: A video isn't mandatory, but candidates who include one get strong preference. Shortlisted candidates will complete a short practical task related to the role.
