Programme Manager, Health and Nutrition

This position will be the focal person to ensure the proper implementation and operation of all Health and Nutrition sector projects under BRAC HCMP in Cox's Bazar and Bhashan Char, to monitor the projects against standards and quality, and to support the Program Coordinator (Health, Nutrition and ECD) with operation analysis. This position is open for Bangladeshi nationals only.

• Ensure the field footprint of BRAC and monitor the standards and quality, and support the Program Coordinator - Health, Nutrition and ECD with operation analysis
• Guide the project managers in the implementation and ensure the field work is carried out as per plan
• Lead H&N operations and logistics issues and support the team lead in decisions related to program operations
• Support the Technical Specialist (PHC manager) and project managers in developing the work and procurement plan and lead the quality review of the plan
• Lead and follow the day to day field implementation of H&N project activities and ensure quality is respected
• Ensure detailed implementation work plans are prepared and approved in line with the H&N project design and Monitoring & Evaluation plan
• Carry out regular field visits to inspect works, review progress and hold project managers accountable for correcting field findings
• Lead the administration and logistics related to H&N issues and commitments, including staff leaves and recruitment, together with HR and other support functions
• Ensure the project follows the Accountability to Affected Population Framework (AAPF) in all project cycles
• Ensure staff are trained in operational issues and sector level guidelines
• Establish a clear coordination plan for the field and Cox's Bazar and ensure BRAC is actively represented in all joint response
• Lead gap analysis and field assessment with clear reporting as per H&N sector TOR
• Contribute to H&N budgets, funding concepts and proposals through analysis of field data and actual costs
• Validate project managers' reports and cross-check with the field so reports carry correct figures
• Safeguarding: protect programme participants and team members from harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation, and follow the safeguarding reporting procedure

যোগ্যতা

• MBBS and MPH/MSc in Global Health, Epidemiology, or Health System Management
• Certification on Global Health Cluster is preferable
• At least 8 years of experience
• Minimum 5-7 years in the humanitarian sector/cluster
• Candidates with international experience will be given preference
• Bangladeshi nationals only
