WFP Bangladesh is looking for a Bangladeshi national to fill the function of Programme Associate at the SC6 level for six months, with the possibility of extension, at the Bandarban duty station under the Rangamati field office. The Programme Associate reports directly to the Head of the Rangamati Field Office.

The role provides technical and project management support to WFP programmes, prepares reports and data analysis, supports cooperating partners and government institutions, and helps WFP respond quickly to emergencies. The contract is a Service Contract. Applications are accepted only through WFP's online recruiting system; CVs sent by email, LinkedIn or other channels are not considered. দায়িত্ব

• Provide technical support and help develop and implement activities aligned with wider programme policies and guidelines
• Provide project management support so activities meet targets under WFP policies and procedures
• Prepare weekly and monthly reports and data analysis (food assistance needs, resource utilisation, programme status, performance)
• Record data accurately and on time in the technical area of work
• Liaise with internal counterparts on implementation and monitoring of project activities
• Provide day-to-day support to cooperating partners and emergency response
• Coordinate with local partners, agencies, NGOs, traditional and government institutions on food security analysis and delivery
• Support capacity building of cooperating partners and national government
• Act as point of contact for operational queries
• Review the work of other support staff and provide guidance
• Follow emergency preparedness practices so WFP can respond quickly to crises

যোগ্যতা

• University degree (Bachelor or equivalent); Development Studies, Social Science, Humanities or a related field preferred
• Minimum 6 years of work experience in programme implementation, partnership management and coordination, preferably in the development sector
• Fluency in spoken and written English and Bangla
• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office)
• Prior work experience in the Chittagong Hill Tracts preferred; applicants originating from the CHT region also preferred
• Bangladeshi nationals only
