The Ministry of Shipping (Administration-1 Branch), Government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh, invites online applications from genuine Bangladeshi citizens for temporary direct recruitment to the revenue-budget post of Office Assistant cum Computer Typist (Grade-16, National Pay Scale 2026: Tk 21,900-52,900), per circular no. 18.00.0000.016.11.003.26 dated 22 September 2026. Applications are accepted ONLY online via https://mos.teletalk.com.bd; no offline or hard-copy applications are accepted. Applying requires completing the online form, uploading a recent photograph and signature, and then paying a non-refundable examination fee of Tk 112 (Tk 100 fee + Tk 12 Teletalk service charge, VAT included) within 72 hours of submission via two SMS messages to 16222 from a Teletalk prepaid number (first SMS to receive a PIN, second SMS 'Yes <PIN>' to complete payment) - this is a real, paid application step, not a free one-click apply. The admit card is then downloadable from the website using the User ID and password.

যোগ্যতা

• HSC or equivalent from a recognized board
• A valid computer training certificate
• Computer typing speed of at least 20 words per minute in Bangla and 20 words per minute in English
• Skill and experience in word processing, email and fax operation
• Age between 18 and 32 years as of 1 September 2026 (relaxed up to 40 years for in-service government/semi-government/autonomous-body candidates under the departmental quota)
• Candidates already working in government, semi-government or autonomous bodies must apply through proper channel with their employer's permission (NOC) and select the 'Departmental Status' option on the form
• Submitting false, misleading or forged information/documents leads to cancellation of candidacy at any stage and legal action
• No TA/DA is provided for the written, practical or oral examination
• Candidates must sit for written, practical and oral/viva examinations; original certificates must be produced at the oral exam
• The recruiting authority reserves the right to increase/decrease the number of vacancies, amend conditions, or suspend/cancel the recruitment process at any stage
