QA Lead (Data Operations)

HeySoham is looking for an experienced and highly responsible QA Lead to take ownership of quality across our AI Data, Data Annotation and Computer Vision projects.

This is not a basic annotation-review role.

You will own the QA process, lead QA resources, identify systematic quality issues, and ensure every dataset meets the required accuracy, consistency and client standards before delivery.

We need someone who can own quality. We are looking for someone who doesn't simply check annotations. You should be able to understand: What is wrong → Why it is happening → Who needs correction → How to fix it → Whether the final dataset is ready. You will have the authority and responsibility to identify quality problems and push the production team toward the required standard.

Your success will be measured by: Quality → Consistency → Defect Detection → Corrective Action → Delivery Readiness. Our goal isn't to discover bad data after delivery. Our goal is to prevent bad data from reaching the client.

• Take ownership of project-level annotation quality
• Lead and coordinate QA personnel across projects
• Build and maintain QA checklists, standards and workflows
• Review annotated data and identify systematic errors
• Conduct random sampling and detailed quality audits
• Track annotator-wise and project-wise quality performance
• Identify recurring errors, edge cases and guideline gaps
• Provide clear corrective feedback to production teams
• Conduct calibration sessions and QA training when required
• Work closely with Production Leads and Annotators
• Maintain QA reports, error logs and quality metrics
• Support annotation guideline and edge-case documentation
• Escalate critical quality issues before client delivery
• Validate final datasets before submission to clients

যোগ্যতা

• 2–4 years of relevant experience in QA, Data Annotation, AI Data, Computer Vision or related operations
• Previous experience as QA Lead / Senior QA / Annotation QA / Senior Annotator is highly preferred
• Strong understanding of annotation quality and dataset consistency
• Experience with CVAT, Supervisely, Encord, Roboflow or similar platforms is a plus
• Comfortable with image / video / text annotation QA (bounding boxes, polygons, segmentation, keypoints or similar tasks)
• Comfortable with large-scale dataset review, accuracy and consistency measurement, edge-case identification and annotator performance tracking
• Comfortable with QA team coordination, remote project operations, tight deadlines and client-specific annotation guidelines
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Ability to independently manage QA responsibilities across projects
• Comfortable leading QA resources and making quality decisions
