World Vision Bangladesh is looking for a MEAL Officer for its Bangladesh Rohingya Crisis Response (BRCR) at the Palong site in Cox's Bazar, on a local fixed-term contract. The role ensures effective management of beneficiary information, data quality, monitoring, reporting and learning within the disaster risk reduction (DRR) programme. It provides technical leadership in maintaining accurate beneficiary databases, designing and implementing M&E systems, analysing data and building partner staff capacity, so that programme decisions are evidence-based. Project locations may be remote and staff are expected to live at the location for short periods. Local applicants only; women and persons with disabilities are highly encouraged to apply.

দায়িত্ব

• Support development of the M&E framework aligned with the project theory of change and keep the Indicator Performance Tracking Table (IPTT) updated
• Coordinate routine technical programme monitoring to support annual donor reporting
• Serve as the GIS technical lead for BRCR and design, develop and update sector geodatabases
• Produce regular GIS and information-analysis products showing the scale and impact of BRCR programming
• Create digital maps, manage spatial data, and train M&E and field staff on GIS databases and data collection forms
• Support analysis of processed data and perform data quality and consistency control
• Prepare consolidated progress reports for management with recommendations
• Document organisational learning and run quarterly review meetings and semi-annual learning events
• Strengthen the capacity of the project team and share key learning with communities and partners

যোগ্যতা

• Master's degree in any discipline, preferably Social Science or Development Studies, or a Bachelor's degree in any subject
• At least 2 years' experience in monitoring and evaluation of development or emergency projects
• Knowledge and skills in project implementation and knowledge of DRR programmes
• Oral and written communication skills in English and Bengali; oral skills in Chittagonian and/or Rohingya
• Willingness to travel within the working area and live in remote project locations for short periods
