Manager – Operations & Business Development

Job Responsibilities

Operations Management

* Supervise daily resort operations, including Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, Swimming Pool and Guest Services.

* Ensure excellent guest satisfaction, service quality, cleanliness, safety and hospitality standards.

* Monitor staff performance, duty rosters, discipline and departmental coordination.

* Manage guest complaints, operational challenges and service improvements.

* Control operational costs, inventory, wastage and resource utilization.

* Ensure smooth execution of corporate events, weddings, parties and other functions.

Business Development & Sales

* Develop and execute strategies to increase room bookings, restaurant sales, event bookings and corporate business.

* Build relationships with corporate clients, travel agencies, event organizers and business partners.

* Generate new business opportunities and maintain strong client relationships.

* Lead sales follow-ups, negotiations, quotations and corporate deals.

* Coordinate with the Sales & Marketing team to achieve monthly revenue targets.

* Identify new revenue streams, promotional opportunities and partnerships.

Reporting & Administration

* Prepare daily, weekly and monthly operational and sales performance reports.

* Monitor revenue, expenses, customer feedback and business performance.

* Report directly to senior management and implement management decisions.

* Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Educational Qualifications

* Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration or a relevant discipline preferred.

Experience & Requirements

* Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in hotel, resort, hospitality operations or business development.

* Proven ability to manage teams and improve sales performance.

* Strong leadership, communication, negotiation and problem-solving skills.

* Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, reporting and digital business tools.

* Must be proactive, target-oriented and capable of working under pressure.

* Willingness to work at the resort in Singair, Manikganj, as required.
