BRAC is hiring a Manager, Internal Audit on a contractual position initially for one year at the Head Office. The role supports the organisation's governance, risk management and internal control framework by conducting risk-based audits, assessing operational and financial processes and ensuring compliance, while recommending practical improvements and promoting accountability and ethical conduct. The post is open to Bangladeshi nationals only and BRAC charges no fees at any stage of recruitment.

দায়িত্ব

• Develop and implement the Annual Internal Audit Plan for Head Office and Divisional Offices through scheduling, resource planning, supervision and field visits
• Assess internal control systems, conduct risk assessments, identify control gaps and recommend improvements
• Review and finalise audit reports and communicate with management to address findings
• Maintain audit documentation including circular, planning and permanent files and evidence for observations
• Lead, coach and develop team members through field supervision, training and mentoring
• Ensure compliance with professional ethics, organisational policies and auditing standards
• Participate in DPC and stakeholder meetings and coordinate with Head Office, field offices and programme management
• Support periodic, quarterly and annual performance reports and follow up on corrective actions

যোগ্যতা

• Graduate or postgraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or a related discipline from a reputed university; CA certificate level preferred
• Minimum three years of experience in internal audit, external audit, accounting, laws and regulations and compliance services
• Understanding of Global Internal Audit Standards, risk management principles and compliance requirements
• Strong knowledge of finance, accounting, internal controls and governance
• Proficiency in auditing techniques, documentation, report writing and IT in audit processes
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Effective communication, negotiation and people management skills, with willingness to do regular field visits
