Sidra Medicine is looking for a Manager - Ethics and Compliance. The role oversees all ongoing activities related to the development and implementation of compliance, regulatory and ethical standards within the organisation, including acting as the Privacy Officer by ensuring that policies and procedures cover the privacy of, and access to, patient health information in compliance with the laws of the State of Qatar.

• Develop, implement and maintain compliance policies, procedures and guidelines in line with applicable laws, regulations and industry standards
• Monitor adherence to legal and regulatory requirements through periodic compliance assessments and audits
• Act as Compliance Officer for the organisation and oversee the Privacy Officer and Research Integrity Officer functions
• Promote ethical behaviour and develop, update and enforce a code of conduct
• Develop and deliver compliance and ethics training programs for staff
• Establish confidential reporting mechanisms and whistleblower protection
• Work with the Risk Manager to identify, assess and mitigate compliance and ethics risks
• Oversee investigations into alleged compliance violations and ethical misconduct
• Coordinate with internal audit and legal departments and with regulatory agencies and external partners
• Report to senior leadership, the board and relevant committees on compliance and ethics programs

যোগ্যতা

• Bachelor's degree in business, law, ethics or a related field (Master's degree in a related field preferred)
• 5+ years of progressive experience, including managerial and compliance and ethics experience
• Proven experience in compliance, regulatory and ethics management in large, complex organisations
• Experience conducting compliance audits, investigations and risk assessments
• Strong understanding of legal and regulatory requirements and ethical standards, including privacy laws such as GDPR or HIPAA
• Experience working with senior leaders and clinicians
• Strong leadership, project management, analytical and communication skills
• Fluency in written and spoken English
• Experience within a healthcare setting, professional certifications and written and spoken Arabic are preferred
