Reporting to the Chair - Women's Services, the Division Chief for Women's Mental Health provides clinical, education, research and executive management leadership for the division. The Division Chief is a clinical and managerial leader working with the Sidra executive team to develop and deliver strategy and business plans, and is accountable for resources and performance in the division. The role integrates research and education priorities into a program of excellent clinical service delivery, while continuing personal clinical, educational and research activities in a reduced and modified manner.

দায়িত্ব

• Identify and articulate the vision, strategic direction and growth of the Division of Women's Mental Health
• Recommend clinical privileges, appointment, reappointment and corrective action for members of the Division
• Promote mentorship and academic career development for Division staff
• Manage the financial performance and budgets of the Division
• Lead clinical service planning, service development and capacity planning
• Ensure optimal women's mental health coverage across consultation/liaison, Emergency Department, clinics and inpatient units, including after hours
• Develop and implement policies and procedures that support divisional services
• Ensure compliance with Joint Commission International, Qatar Supreme Council of Health and other regulatory standards
• Set targets to drive continuous improvement in the quality of care and services
• Ensure a program of clinical and translational research is developed, promoted and delivered
• Remain actively involved in research, graduate teaching and publication
• Develop physician and community relationships and communication with other providers of care in Qatar

যোগ্যতা

• MD, MBBS or equivalent degree
• Residency training in Psychiatry
• Subspecialty fellowship in Women's Mental Health (or equivalent certification or training)
• 10+ years of post-residency clinical experience in the relevant field, including 5+ years in academic leadership in the specialty
