icddr,b, a Bangladesh-based international health research institute, is hiring Health Assistants for the Mucosal Immunology and Vaccinology Unit (MIVU) under the Infectious Diseases Division. The unit studies the systemic and mucosal immunology of diseases with natural infections and applies these findings to better determine vaccine efficacy. The post reports to the Medical Officer and is a short-term position of 6 months with a possibility of extension, subject to availability of funds and performance. 10 posts are open. Only shortlisted candidates will be invited for the written test or interview, and icddr,b does not charge any fee at any stage of recruitment.

দায়িত্ব

• Collect data and specimens in accordance with approved study protocols and procedures
• Obtain informed consent, screen and enroll eligible participants, and conduct participant follow-up activities
• Collect, label, process, store, track, and maintain study specimens in accordance with established protocols
• Handle and transport specimens safely while maintaining required storage and temperature conditions
• Coordinate and facilitate the delivery of study reports and results within established turnaround times
• Maintain accurate and complete study records, documentation, and sample-tracking logs
• Implement approved Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) throughout all research activities
• Maintain compliance with infection prevention and control measures, quality standards, confidentiality requirements, and study protocols
• Monitor and ensure adherence to established procedures and timelines throughout the study activities

যোগ্যতা

• Diploma in Nursing Science and Midwifery or BSc in Nursing with valid registration from the Bangladesh Nursing and Midwifery Council (BNMC)
• At least 3 years of relevant experience
• Bangladeshi nationals only
