Avicen is hiring a General Practitioner to provide comprehensive primary healthcare services: diagnosing, treating and managing acute and chronic conditions, conducting consultations and examinations, ordering and interpreting tests, prescribing treatment, and providing preventive care and health education, in line with clinical protocols and regulatory requirements.

• Provide comprehensive primary healthcare by diagnosing, treating and managing acute and chronic medical conditions
• Conduct patient consultations and physical examinations
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests and prescribe appropriate medications and treatment plans
• Provide preventive healthcare, health education and lifestyle counseling
• Maintain accurate and confidential medical records and monitor patients' progress
• Refer patients to specialists or healthcare facilities when advanced care is required
• Respond to medical emergencies and ensure compliance with clinical protocols, infection control standards and regulatory requirements
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to deliver safe, high-quality, patient-centered care

যোগ্যতা

• MBBS or equivalent medical degree from a recognized institution.
• Valid Ministry of Health (MOH) license or eligibility to practice as a General Practitioner.
• Minimum 5 years of clinical experience in a hospital, clinic, or primary healthcare setting.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification is an advantage.
• Strong clinical knowledge with the ability to diagnose and manage a wide range of acute and chronic medical conditions.
• Proficiency in interpreting laboratory results, diagnostic imaging, and other clinical investigations.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and patient counseling skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
• Strong clinical judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Proficiency in Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems and basic computer applications.
• Thorough understanding of medical ethics, patient confidentiality, infection prevention, and quality standards.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends, holidays, and on-call duties, as required.
• Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic or other languages is an added advantage.
