SAJIDA Foundation is hiring a General Manager – Finance & Accounts for its Social Enterprises, posted at the SAJIDA Foundation Head Office. The role oversees the finance and accounts functions of all six social enterprises, serves as the main coordination point between their finance teams and the Director, Finance & Accounts, and supports the Managing Directors on performance and strategy. • Oversee the finance and accounts functions of all six social enterprises, ensuring accurate, timely and consistent financial reporting
• Review monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, management reports and performance analyses for compliance with accounting standards and group policies
• Coordinate annual budgets, periodic forecasts and business plans; monitor actuals against budget and recommend corrective actions
• Monitor treasury operations, cash flows, bank transactions and liquidity; review receivables ageing and report collection risks
• Work with the Managing Directors of the six enterprises on performance, strategy and growth opportunities
• Provide financial insights and decision support on cost optimisation, pricing, investment appraisal and resource allocation
• Establish and monitor financial controls, policies and procedures to safeguard assets and reduce risk
• Ensure timely compliance with tax, VAT and other statutory requirements, including returns and documentation
• Oversee bank, vendor, intercompany and balance-sheet reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
• Coordinate internal and external audits and ensure agreed corrective actions are closed on time
• Supervise and train the finance and accounts staff of the six enterprises
• Organise board meetings, including financial reports, presentations, minutes and follow-up monitoring
• Drive automation, digitalisation and standardisation of finance and accounting processes
• Identify emerging financial risks, monitor key performance indicators and update the Director, Finance & Accounts
• Undertake special assignments as directed by the Director, Finance & Accounts or senior management

যোগ্যতা

• Minimum 8 - 10 years of relevant experience, including supervising finance and accounts functions across multiple entities
• Graduation and post-graduation in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline
• ACCA or CA qualified candidates preferred
