Siemens Energy Bangladesh Ltd., part of the Gas Services business unit (Service Asia Pacific), is looking for a Field Service Mechanical Engineer (Gas Turbines) in Dhaka. The engineer joins a team delivering high-quality troubleshooting solutions for gas turbines, working on projects that contribute directly to the efficiency and reliability of power generation. The role supervises and carries out installation, inspection, overhaul and maintenance activities, including combustion chamber maintenance, tiling, burner maintenance and combustion system works, and leads field teams during outages and project execution.

দায়িত্ব

• Supervise and carry out installation, inspection, overhaul and maintenance of Siemens Energy gas turbines, including combustion chamber, tiling, burner and combustion system works
• Lead field teams during outages and project execution, ensuring mechanical activities follow technical procedures, quality standards, schedules and customer requirements
• Assess turbine components for defects, wear or malfunction, identify root causes and recommend corrective actions to site management and customers
• Document disassembly, inspection, reassembly, measurements and test results through check sheets, protocols, data sheets, inspection reports and field service reports
• Uphold HSE standards by promoting safe work practices, conducting toolbox talks and monitoring subcontractor activities
• Coordinate with site management, customers and subcontractors for smooth outage execution and timely resolution of technical issues

যোগ্যতা

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent from a reputable university, with solid technical knowledge of gas turbines
• Around 5 years of relevant experience
• Hands-on experience performing maintenance inspections of gas turbine components and investigating equipment defects, failures and abnormal operating conditions
• Ability to analyse root causes of turbine damage, recommend corrective actions and prepare spare parts lists and technical documentation
• Experience providing customer advisory support on maintenance findings and equipment condition
• Good oral and written English
