VF Corporation is hiring a Director, Quality Operations, Apparel, in the Quality Operations function of Global Product Supply, based in Dhaka and reporting to the Quality Operations Sr. Director.

The Director leads quality operations strategy, governance and continuous improvement across the Apparel category. The role ensures consistent execution of VF quality standards, certification programs and SOPs across regions and vendor partners, working with Brand and Distribution Center Quality, Product Development, Sourcing, Technical, Product Stewardship and Planning teams, and using metrics, analytics and factory performance insights to drive decisions in a cross-functional, multicultural, matrix environment.

দায়িত্ব

• Own quality operations priorities for Apparel and translate category standards into effective factory and vendor practices across knitted, woven and technical product collections
• Translate the global Quality Management strategy into clear category priorities, operating plans, roles, decision rights and measurable outcomes
• Partner with regional Quality Management teams to develop, implement and govern consistent SOPs, certification requirements and continuous improvement practices
• Drive harmonization and standardization of quality working practices across Apparel in line with One VF ways of working
• Use factory scorecards, KPIs, analytics and risk indicators to prioritize resources and drive sustained improvement in defect rates and total cost of quality
• Lead structured problem-solving and preventive quality improvement across product development, commercialization and manufacturing
• Contribute to functional budget and resource planning and deploy people against the highest-priority quality opportunities
• Lead resolution of Apparel testing, product standards, workmanship, fit, construction and manufacturing-process issues with cross-functional experts
• Direct the execution and calibration of the Vendor Certification Program to ensure adherence to VF and brand standards
• Evaluate source-base quality capability and capacity, identify gaps and support vendor capability building aligned with sourcing and allocation strategies
• Promote a Quality First mindset and Speak Up culture with associates and vendor partners
• Act as a strategic partner across Quality Management, Apparel Technical, Sourcing and Product Supply to align priorities and achieve shared objectives

যোগ্যতা

• 15 years of relevant professional experience in quality management, manufacturing, engineering, product development or supply chain within reputable apparel, footwear, equipment, retail or consumer-facing multinational organizations, including solid people-leadership experience
• University degree or equivalent experience in quality, manufacturing, industrial, mechanical, textile, footwear, apparel, materials, engineering, supply chain or a related discipline
• Proven experience leading multicultural, virtual and matrix teams and influencing senior stakeholders across global functions and locations
• Strong process management, problem-solving, negotiation and change-leadership capability with a continuous improvement mindset
• Experience managing strategies, budgets, resources and performance through metrics and analytics
• Strong knowledge of apparel product creation and manufacturing, including knitted and woven products, materials and trims, garment construction, testing and production quality controls
• Experience in technical outdoor apparel, pattern creation and digital product creation is an advantage
• Excellent written and spoken English
