Job description

The post reports to the Deputy Director of Marketing and is key to making the newly launched university website simplified, consolidated and standardised to improve user experience. The role involves maintaining and proactively optimising the site, using web analytics to improve user journeys, and informing content and web strategy. The postholder will also develop information architectures and content management strategies so university information reaches all audiences. Requirements

• Experience of UX writing or creating content for digital platforms
• Experience writing for the web and creating or optimising web pages and images
• Experience writing, editing and creating impactful web copy
• A strong understanding of SEO and GEO (essential)
• An understanding of accessibility requirements (essential)
• Knowledge of developing information architectures and content management strategies
• Experience using web analytics tools
• Experience advising and training others on web aspects of digital content
