Technical Visual Designer / Spare Parts Specialist

Job description

BJIT is seeking a detail-oriented Technical Visual Designer / Spare Parts Specialist to create clear and accurate visual content for user manuals and spare-parts documentation. This role is ideal for candidates with a background in Mechanical Design Engineering and hands-on familiarity with CAD software, 3D models, and Adobe Creative Suite.

You will work independently with technical writers and engineers to generate exploded views, component illustrations, and spare-parts visuals from existing 3D models. Experience with Teamcenter, NX, LinkOne, and spare-parts catalog processes will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Create exploded views, component illustrations and spare-parts visuals from existing 3D models
• Produce clear and accurate visual content for user manuals and spare-parts documentation
• Work independently with technical writers and engineers

Requirements

• Basic knowledge of working with CAD software's and 3D-models, ability to explode and move components in 3D model
• Modelling or designing new things is not part of this role
• Enthusiasm of generating visual content based on 3D model
• Knowledge of using Teamcenter/NX environment is a plus
• Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator
• Background of creating user manual pictures and/or spare part pictures
• At least 2 years of experience of visual design or engineering
• Willingness to work on this type of role for longer period
• Quite independent role working with technical writers and engineers. Proactivity needed.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Design Engineering
