Job description

The Team Leader (Europe) is accountable for the development planning of the destination, counseling skills, application quality control and partner management of the assigned destinations. This role is central to the delivery of revenue and profit objectives and will work with the teams towards establishing BASE Study as an admired and respected service provider.

Possible stakeholders: representatives (college, university, ed-tech, pathways); internal team (Destination, Admission, VISA, Marketing).

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute assigned destination-wise activity calendars to deliver pipeline leads and conversion targets by intake
• Achieve the yearly target (destination-wise) and facilitate the team at every level of conversion, from application to visa lodgment
• Assist and follow up application stages for admission at leading universities in European countries such as Austria, Sweden, Finland, Hungary, Lithuania and Cyprus to ensure offers are received on time
• Plan and organize campaigns for the assigned destination to keep an uninterrupted flow of applications leading to visa lodgment
• Monitor timely uploading of student data in the CRM by counselors for follow-up
• Regularly train counselors and the visa team to provide professional, quality counselling by evaluating students' academic background and recommending the best university options
• Maintain relations with partner universities, ed-tech and pathway providers, and approach new partners to grow the partner portfolio
• Support senior management as a collaborative, productive member of the office team
• Prepare and submit daily, weekly and monthly activity reports and documents on time, and coordinate with sales and other departments
• Participate in growth and opportunity planning with top management at regular intervals

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in study abroad counseling or a similar role
• Knowledge of international education systems, application processes, and visa regulations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students and families
• Proficiency in MS Office, AI tools and student management systems
