Job description

Bangladesh Parjatan Corporation (national tourism organisation), Parjatan Bhaban, West Agargaon, Dhaka-1207, is recruiting for 5 posts in total on a temporary basis, from genuine citizens of Bangladesh, as per its circular dated 28 September 2026. This notice is for the post of Steno Typist cum Computer Operator. The post is Grade 14 (pay scale Tk 23,500 - 56,800). Applications are accepted online only at https://parjatan.teletalk.com.bd from 28 September 2026 (10:00 AM) to 27 October 2026 (5:00 PM); applications by any other means are not accepted, and candidates from all districts may apply. Age is calculated on the basis of the SSC or equivalent certificate; affidavits are not accepted as proof of age, and the government quota rules (freedom-fighter family, small ethnic group, disabled and third-gender candidates) apply. Employees of government, semi-government and autonomous bodies must apply with the permission of their employer. Written, practical (where applicable) and oral tests will be held; selected candidates must pass a character verification before final appointment. At the oral test candidates must bring original and attested certificates, a district permanent-resident certificate, national ID/birth certificate and a character certificate. Forged documents or false information lead to cancellation of candidature, and the authority may change the number of posts or cancel the circular. Fee: Tk 100 plus Teletalk service charge Tk 12 (Tk 112 in total) (paid by two SMS from a Teletalk prepaid number within 72 hours of submitting the form; the application is not valid until the fee is paid). Note: applying costs the candidate this SMS fee through the Teletalk recruitment portal.

Requirements

• HSC or equivalent from a government-approved board
• Shorthand speed of 70 words per minute in Bangla and 80 words per minute in English
• Typing speed of 20 words per minute in Bangla and 30 words per minute in English
• Trained and skilled in MS Office, Unicode and basic database management
• Maximum age 32 years
• Citizen of Bangladesh; candidates from all districts may apply
• Government, semi-government and autonomous employees must apply with employer permission
• Must not have been convicted of a moral-turpitude offence or be married to a non-citizen
