Job description

Munshi HR Solutions Limited is hiring a Sr. Manager, Finance & Accounts for an FMCG & Watch industry business in Bangladesh. The role oversees financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and reporting, accounting operations, costing, cash flow and treasury, with compliance to IAS, IFRS, VAT, income tax and statutory regulations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
• Manage accounting operations, costing, cash flow, and treasury functions
• Ensure compliance with IAS, IFRS, VAT, Income Tax, and statutory regulations
• Strengthen internal controls, financial governance, and ERP-based processes
• Provide strategic financial insights to support business growth
• Lead and develop the Finance & Accounts team
• Ensure compliance with all applicable statutory and regulatory requirements, including VAT, Income Tax, Customs, RJSC, Bangladesh Bank, BIDA, and other relevant authorities
• Ensure proper deduction, deposit, and submission of VDS, TDS, TCS, and related statutory returns in accordance with the VAT & SD Act 2012 and the Income Tax Act 2023
• Manage banking operations, treasury activities, fund utilization, and cash flow planning
• Prepare and maintain product costing for all SKUs, conduct standard costing, and analyze variances between standard and actual costs

Requirements

• Master's in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline from any reputed university
• 12-15 years of experience; minimum 5 years of managerial experience
• Strong expertise in financial management, taxation, VAT, costing, and compliance
• Experience in reputed local or multinational organizations
• FMCG industry experience will be preferred
• ACCA Qualified or FCMA
