Senior Specialist, English Content Development

Job description

Ogilvy is looking for a Senior Specialist, English Content Development to join its team in Qatar. The role suits a native English-speaking storyteller who can move between corporate communications and creative concept development, producing content for executive communications, annual reports, brand narratives, campaign concepts, video scripts and project naming exercises, and acting as a trusted editor and proofreader.

Responsibilities

• Develop and write website copy, annual reports and corporate publications, marketing and campaign materials, and internal and external communications
• Lead creative content development, including naming and positioning of new initiatives and projects, campaign and storytelling concepts, video scripts, and MC scripts and event content
• Edit, proofread and refine content produced by internal teams and external partners
• Ensure all content is aligned with brand guidelines, messaging frameworks and strategic objectives
• Translate complex information into clear, engaging, audience-focused narratives
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver high-quality content solutions

Requirements

• Native English speaker with exceptional writing, editing and proofreading skills
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in content development, copywriting, communications, journalism or a related field
• Bachelor's degree in Media, Communications, Journalism, English, Arts or a related discipline
• Demonstrated experience producing both corporate and creative content
• Strong conceptual thinking and the ability to develop original ideas, narratives and messaging frameworks
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Strong organisational, project management and stakeholder management skills
• Experience in corporate, government or institutional environments is an advantage
