The Cyber Triad Company is a cybersecurity and technology company focused on building practical, scalable, and intelligent security solutions for modern businesses.

Our work spans Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing (VAPT), managed cybersecurity services, security automation, AI-powered security products, and enterprise security solutions.

We are also building Triad Hound, our Continuous VAPT platform designed to help organizations continuously identify exposed assets, detect vulnerabilities, prioritize risks, remediate issues, validate fixes, and escalate to human security experts when needed.

As we continue to expand our engineering and product capabilities, we are building a strong technical team that can design reliable production systems and support the next generation of cybersecurity products and services.

We are looking for an experienced Senior .NET Software Engineer with a strong focus on system design, software architecture, and production-grade backend development.

This role is ideal for someone who can translate business and technical requirements into practical system designs, evaluate architectural trade-offs, and take ownership of technical decisions from design through production delivery.

Key Responsibilities

- Design scalable, secure, reliable, and maintainable applications using C#, .NET, and ASP.NET Core

- Define system boundaries, components, data flows, service interactions, and integration patterns

- Lead architecture and system design discussions, including decisions around:

- Modular monoliths

- Microservices

- Event-driven architectures

- Design robust REST APIs and service contracts with:

- Authentication and authorization

- Versioning

- Error handling

- Resiliency

- Idempotency

- Backward compatibility

- Design data models and persistence strategies using Microsoft SQL Server and/or PostgreSQL

- Design systems for scalability, availability, fault tolerance, caching, observability, and asynchronous processing

- Identify architectural risks, performance bottlenecks, failure scenarios, and technical debt

- Evaluate synchronous vs. asynchronous communication, messaging, caching, and distributed-processing approaches

- Create and maintain:

- Architecture diagrams

- Technical design documents

- Architecture Decision Records (ADRs)

- Participate in architecture, technical design, and code reviews

- Remain hands-on with implementation, prototyping, debugging, code reviews, and delivery of critical components

Requirements

- 5+ years of professional software development experience

- Strong hands-on experience with C#, .NET, and ASP.NET Core

- Proven experience designing scalable, secure, reliable, and maintainable backend systems

- Strong understanding of:

- Service boundaries

- Scalability

- Availability

- Data consistency

- Failure handling

- Integration patterns

- Strong knowledge of:

- Object-Oriented Programming

- SOLID principles

- Design patterns

- Modular architecture

- Experience designing REST APIs and service contracts

- Strong database design and data modeling skills using SQL Server and/or PostgreSQL

- Solid understanding of:

- Indexing

- Transactions

- Concurrency

- Query performance

- Practical experience with distributed-system concepts including:

- Caching

- Messaging

- Asynchronous processing

- Eventual consistency

- Idempotency

- Fault tolerance

- Observability

- Ability to evaluate architectural trade-offs and select the right solution based on business and technical requirements

- Experience documenting technical decisions through diagrams, technical design documents, and/or ADRs

- Strong problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and ownership skills

Nice to Have

- Redis or other distributed caching technologies

- Kafka, RabbitMQ, Azure Service Bus, or similar messaging platforms

- Docker and Kubernetes

- Azure, AWS, or GCP

- CI/CD and production deployment practices

- Real-time, high-throughput, or large-scale distributed systems

- SignalR or similar real-time communication technologies
