The Research and Development Specialist will work on a contract basis in a fully remote capacity, collaborating with cross-functional teams to explore, design, and validate new digital solutions and product enhancements. Day-to-day work includes planning and conducting research initiatives, analyzing data and emerging technologies, and transforming findings into actionable product concepts or technical recommendations. Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct research initiatives.
• Analyze data and emerging technologies and turn findings into actionable product concepts or technical recommendations.
• Support experimental design and coordinate with development teams to test and refine prototypes.
• Prepare clear documentation, reports, and presentations for internal stakeholders.
• Continuously monitor industry trends, competitor offerings, and user feedback to identify innovation opportunities.

Requirements

• Strong Research and Development (R&D) experience, including designing and executing innovation-focused projects.
• Solid analytical skills to interpret data, evaluate experimental results, and support evidence-based decisions.
• Effective communication skills to present findings, collaborate with technical and non-technical teams, and produce clear documentation.
• Hands-on research capabilities and, where applicable, laboratory skills relevant to testing, prototyping, or experimental validation.
• Experience in IT, software, or digital product environments, with familiarity in emerging technologies such as AI or automation, is beneficial.
• Bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science) or equivalent practical experience.
• Proven ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
• Strong problem-solving mindset, attention to detail, and openness to continuous learning and innovation.
