Principal iOS Engineer / Senior iOS Engineer

We're on the lookout for a talented iOS developer who will join a close-knit team of mobile engineers and work alongside Product, Data, QA, and Design to shape and deliver the next generation of Ding's iOS apps.

Responsibilities

• Build out performant iOS applications using modern Apple technology
• Be part of a highly effective team using Kanban methodologies
• Work with Apple technologies (SwiftUI, Swift 6, UIKit)
• Participate in refactoring UIKit code to SwiftUI
• Be part of the whole lifecycle of a feature, from the idea to discussion with the business, delivery, and releasing to production

Requirements

• At least 5 years of professional experience in iOS development using Swift
• Experience refactoring from UIKit to SwiftUI in production applications
• Experience migrating from Combine / callback-based async logic to Swift concurrency (async/await, Task, structured concurrency)
• Experience in best practices including Agile Development, Continuous Integration, Test Driven Development and SOLID principles
• Strong testing focus and ability to write clean and well-designed code
• Familiarity with architectural patterns such as MVVM & VIPER
