Job description

The Department of National Savings (NSC Tower, 18th floor, 62/3 Purana Paltan, Dhaka-1000), under the Internal Resources Division of the Ministry of Finance, is recruiting on a temporary basis for 95 revenue-budget posts by direct recruitment from citizens of Bangladesh, following clearance from the Internal Resources Division (memo no. 08.04.0000.000.006.11.0906.26, dated 25 October 2026). Recruitment follows the National Savings Department (Employees) Recruitment Rules 2019 and the Computer Personnel Recruitment Rules 2019 for government institutions. This listing is for 40 Office Assistant-cum-Computer Typist posts at Grade-16 of the national pay scale 2026 (Tk 21,900 - 52,900). The required qualification is Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) or equivalent pass with at least second division or equivalent GPA, and candidates must be 18 to 32 years old on 1 October 2026.

Selection is by a written test, then a practical test for those who pass it, then a viva for those who pass the practical. Applications are online only, through the Department of National Savings Teletalk recruitment portal (nsd.teletalk.com.bd), from 29 October 2026 (10:00 AM) to 26 November 2026 (4:00 PM). The application fee is Tk 112 (Tk 100 fee plus Tk 12 Teletalk service charge), paid by two SMS messages from a Teletalk prepaid mobile to Teletalk, not to JobBangla, within 72 hours of submitting the form. Requirements

• Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) or equivalent pass from a recognised board with at least second division or equivalent GPA
• Minimum computer typing speed of 20 words per minute in Bangla and 20 words per minute in English
• Citizen of Bangladesh; not eligible if married to or engaged to marry a non-citizen, or convicted by a criminal court of an offence involving moral turpitude
• Age 18 to 32 years as of 1 October 2026; an affidavit is not accepted as proof of age
• State your latest educational qualification on the application; qualifications hidden at application cannot be claimed later for promotion or other benefits
• Candidates employed in government, semi-government or autonomous bodies must apply with their authority's permission and submit the original no-objection certificate at the viva
• Candidates claiming a quota must state it clearly in the application; quota follows the latest government policy
• At the viva, show the National ID and all original certificates, and submit the filled-in Application Form with one attested photocopy set of the National ID and all certificates
• Application fee Tk 112 (Tk 100 fee plus Tk 12 Teletalk service charge); Tk 56 (Tk 50 plus Tk 6 service charge) for disadvantaged (anagrasar) citizens for every post
• Online application and fee payment open 29 October 2026, 10:00 AM and close 26 November 2026, 4:00 PM; the fee must be paid by SMS within 72 hours of submitting the form or the application is cancelled automatically
• Upload a colour photo (300x300 px, max 100 KB) and signature (300x80 px, max 60 KB) with the online form
• Only one post may be applied for; incomplete, erroneous or late applications are cancelled
• No TA/DA is paid for the written, practical or viva exams
• Admit cards and exam dates are announced on nsd.teletalk.com.bd, nationalsavings.gov.bd and by SMS to eligible candidates
• The authority may reduce or increase the number of posts or cancel the circular; its decision on any recruitment matter is final
