Job description

The Directorate of Sports, under the Ministry of Youth and Sports (Adamjee Court Annex-2, Motijheel C/A, Dhaka), invites applications from citizens of Bangladesh for 9 Office Assistant-cum-Computer Typist post(s) (Grade 16, pay scale Tk 21,900-52,900) on the revenue budget, for District Sports Offices. This is part of a circular (memo no. 34.02.2665.103.11.002.25-1202, dated 23 September 2026) covering 6 posts and 43 vacancies. The employment type is temporary as stated in the news report of the circular.

How to apply: apply online only at https://ds.teletalk.com.bd from 1 October 2026 (10:00 AM) to 30 October 2026 (4:00 PM). Upload a colour photo (300x300 px) and signature (300x80 px). Pay the non-refundable exam fee of Tk 112 via Teletalk pre-paid SIM within 72 hours of submitting the form. Note that applying through the Teletalk portal requires paying this SMS fee.

Requirements

• HSC or equivalent from a recognised board with at least second division or equivalent GPA
• Proficiency in computer use
• Age relaxed up to 40 years for departmental candidates
• Age 18 to 32 years as on 1 October 2026; no affidavit is accepted as proof of age
• Must be a citizen of Bangladesh; apply online only, applications by post or any other means are not accepted
• State the highest educational qualification actually earned in the application
• Incomplete applications and applications after the deadline are not considered
