Job description

The Deputy Commissioner's Office, Jhenaidah (Revenue Section) is recruiting 6 Office Assistant posts at Grade-20 of the national pay scale 2026 (Tk 20,000 - 48,400) for the district revenue branch and the upazila and circle land offices and union land offices under it. Only permanent residents of Jhenaidah district may apply.

The required qualification is an SSC or equivalent pass with at least second division or equivalent GPA, and the candidate must also pass the exam set for the post under the Ministry of Land's field-level officer and employee recruitment rules 2021. Candidates must be 18 to 32 years old on the last date of application. Selection is by a written exam and a viva.

Applications are online only at dcjhenaidah.teletalk.com.bd, from 2 November 2026 (10:00 AM) to 22 November 2026 (5:00 PM). The exam fee is Tk 56 (Tk 50 fee plus Tk 6 Teletalk service charge), paid by two SMS messages from a Teletalk prepaid mobile (to Teletalk, not to JobBangla) within 72 hours of submitting the form. Requirements

• Secondary School Certificate (SSC) or equivalent pass from a recognised board with at least second division or equivalent GPA
• Pass the exam prescribed for the post (Schedule 13 of the recruitment rules)
• Bangladeshi citizen by birth and permanent resident of Jhenaidah district
• Age 18 to 32 years on the last date of application; the latest government age rules apply (including to children of freedom fighters) and affidavits are not accepted as proof of age
• Must pass the selection exam: a written exam, then a viva for those who pass the written exam
• Only one post may be applied for; applying for more than one post cancels the application
• At the viva, bring two attested photocopies of each document along with the originals: the online Applicant's Copy, all educational certificates, the citizenship certificate from the municipality or union parishad, National ID or birth registration, a character certificate from a first-class gazetted officer, the admit card, computer skill certificate where applicable, and, for serving candidates, a no-objection certificate from the authority
• Quota candidates (freedom fighter, small ethnic group, physically challenged, third gender) must provide the certificates the circular asks for
• Candidates already employed in government, semi-government, autonomous or local government service must apply with their authority's permission and show a no-objection letter at the viva
• Online applications open 2 November 2026, 10:00 AM and close 22 November 2026, 5:00 PM; the fee must be paid by two SMS messages from a Teletalk prepaid mobile within 72 hours of submitting the form
• Upload a colour photo (300x300 px) and signature (300x80 px) with the online form
• No TA/DA is paid for the selection exam
• Forged or false documents or information, or cheating in the exam, cancel the candidature and lead to legal action
• The authority may change, amend or cancel the terms of the circular without giving a reason
