MEP Engineer

Job description

On behalf of the CPC-HANIL Joint Venture, Concord Pragatee Consortium Ltd. (CPC) is inviting applications from qualified, experienced professionals for an immediate appointment as MEP Engineer on an upcoming Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) project in Bangladesh. The role covers mechanical, electrical and plumbing works, including coordination, installation, inspection, testing and commissioning of building services. Applications go by email or hard copy to the Director-Projects at CPC's Mohammadpur, Dhaka office, with a CV, passport-size photograph, certificates, experience certificates and NID, on or before 7 November 2026. Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
• At least 10 years of professional experience in mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP) works for major building or infrastructure projects
• Experience in coordination, installation, inspection, testing and commissioning of HVAC, ventilation, electrical power distribution, lighting, plumbing, water supply, drainage, fire protection and other building services
• Experience in MRT, metro rail, railway, depot or large-scale building projects, particularly JICA/ADB-assisted ones, is preferred
• Strong multidisciplinary coordination and problem-solving skills
• Proven professional experience relevant to the position
• Experience in MRT/metro rail, railway or other large-scale infrastructure projects will be given preference
• Experience with international construction firms and on JICA/ADB-assisted projects is an added advantage
• Foreign nationals and candidates with overseas project experience may be considered, subject to applicable laws and work permit requirements
• Strong leadership, analytical, coordination, communication and problem-solving skills
• Good command of written and spoken English is desirable
• Proactive, responsible, result-oriented and able to work in a multidisciplinary project environment
