Job description

Biman Bangladesh Airlines Ltd. (notice no. 30.34.0000.073.29.000.26.283, dated 28 September 2026) invites online applications from eligible Bangladeshi citizens for direct recruitment of Medical Technologist, Pay Division-3(2) (Tk 12,200-30,230), 1 post. Selected candidates are placed on a 3-year contractual/probationary appointment; the appointment is made permanent only after satisfactory completion of that 3-year contractual service. After submitting the online form, a non-refundable application fee of Tk 355 (inclusive of Teletalk service charge/VAT, per this circular's fee bracket for posts 9-12) must be paid within 72 hours via two SMS messages to 16222 from a Teletalk prepaid number - a real, paid step, not a free one-click apply.

Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory diagnostic tests and procedures for Biman's medical/healthcare facility
• Maintain laboratory equipment, samples and records in line with standard protocols
• Support the medical team with diagnostic and screening services for staff/crew

Requirements

• 3-year Diploma in Medical Technology (Laboratory) from a government-recognized institute
• Foreign-education holders must provide an Equivalence Certificate from the relevant Bangladeshi education board/university/University Grants Commission for the degree and results
• Must have computer operation knowledge
• A GED (General Educational Development) certificate is not accepted
• Age not exceeding 32 years as of 30 September 2026, calculated from the SSC certificate
• Selected candidates serve an initial 3-year contractual/probationary appointment before being considered for permanent appointment
• Candidates currently serving in government/semi-government/autonomous bodies must apply through the proper channel
• Any discrepancy between the application and submitted documents, or incomplete/incorrect information, leads to cancellation of candidacy at any stage
