Job description

Manager / Senior Manager - HR & Compliance (Head of Factory HR) for a Textile / RMG / Garments factory in Tongi, Gazipur. Salary BDT 100,000 - 120,000 per month. The role is the primary factory lead for all human resources, industrial relations, and compliance frameworks, ensuring a harmonious and legally compliant manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Factory HR Leadership: lead, design, and execute HR strategies tailored to the factory, acting as primary HR business partner to plant operations
• Compliance Management: oversee and enforce local labour laws (Bangladesh Labour Act & Rules), international buyers' codes of conduct, and health & safety (OHS) standards
• Audit Readiness: manage and facilitate social compliance audits (e.g., RSC, SEDEX, BSCI, or specific brand audits)
• Industrial Relations: maintain healthy employee relations, managing grievances, disciplinary procedures, and conflict resolution on the factory floor
• Talent Management: oversee end-to-end recruitment, onboarding, performance evaluation, and training programs for staff and workers

Requirements

• 8 to 10 years of solid HR experience, with at least 3-5 years in a core leadership/head of department role inside a reputed manufacturing plant or garments factory
• In-depth, practical knowledge of both core HR practices and factory compliance guidelines is mandatory
• MBA in HR, Masters in HRM, or a relevant discipline from a reputable university; PGDHRM or legal certifications are advantageous
