Data Analytics Manager

Job description

Talabat is hiring a Manager Data Analytics - Logistics in Dubai to own product roadmap planning, new feature rollout and product issue handling for the Logistics Rider vertical. You will work closely with local Heads of Logistics, performance managers, regional functional heads and product owners to gather requirements and turn them into well-prioritised, measurable product work.

The role suits someone who can interpret complex data sets, build strong business cases and act as the primary contact when product emergencies arise.

Responsibilities

• Engage with local Heads of Logistics, performance managers, regional functional heads and product owners to gather requirements for the Logistics Rider vertical
• Build business cases outlining the problem and opportunity size
• Lead the six-monthly prioritisation process aligned with logistics OKRs and local and regional needs
• Coordinate and communicate the product roadmap across all teams involved
• Support central product teams through problem discovery, development, testing and roll-out
• Identify and monitor success metrics, including setting up reporting dashboards
• Relay new developments to key stakeholders before and after go-live
• Assist countries in addressing product and tech-related issues and evaluate their impact
• Act as the primary contact during product emergencies and escalate critical bugs to product support teams

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degrees or certifications in data analytics or product management are a plus
• 6-7 years of experience, preferably in logistics, product management or related roles
• Experience in food delivery, e-commerce or q-commerce is highly advantageous
• Ability to interpret complex data sets to derive insights and actions
• Strong analytical and data-driven problem-solving skills
• Good knowledge and experience of SQL, BigQuery and reporting tools such as Google Looker Studio
• Excellent written and spoken English; Arabic is a plus but not essential
• Ability to convey complex ideas clearly to diverse audiences across markets and teams
• Ability to prioritise and manage multiple initiatives with minimal supervision
• Experience managing multiple internal and external stakeholders
