Job description

Ozeol is a worldwide B2B supplier specializing in stock clearance and the purchase of surplus products such as textiles, toys, shoes and accessories. It is hiring an International Buyer in Dhaka who will manage a set of product families and a supplier portfolio, search for and select products and suppliers in line with the company's purchasing strategy, and negotiate contracts to meet cost, lead-time and quality objectives.

Responsibilities

• Identify and purchase overstocks, liquidations and unsold goods at the best prices on the international market
• Negotiate purchasing conditions and prices to secure favorable terms
• Follow up on orders and ensure all necessary documentation is in place
• Use the company's internal software and office resources effectively
• Manage claims and disputes with customers and vendors
• Maintain frequent communication with managers and support staff
• Meet the qualitative and quantitative objectives set by management

Requirements

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Business, Commercial, Procurement management or a related field
• Proven track record in purchasing and negotiation or trading; experience in international buying, international purchasing or supplier negotiation is specifically sought
• Strong negotiation and communication skills
• Excellent command of English; French is a strong asset
• Motivated and commercially minded with a strategic approach to purchasing
• Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite with an emphasis on Excel
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers and internal teams
• Strong problem-solving skills to manage claims and disputes
