Job description

Bangladesh Coast Guard, under the Ministry of Home Affairs, has invited online applications for direct recruitment to its civil staff (revenue budget) posts: 38 vacancies across 7 categories. This listing covers the Driver post: 25 permanent vacancies, Grade 15, national pay scale Tk. 22,800 - 55,200.

Educational qualification: Passed Junior School Certificate (JSC) or equivalent from a recognised board; valid heavy vehicle driving licence; experienced drivers get preference.

Age: 18 to 32 years as on 31 October 2026; no affidavit is accepted as proof of age.

How to apply: apply online only through the Bangladesh Coast Guard job portal (jobs.coastguard.gov.bd); applications sent in person or by post are not accepted. Register on the portal, fill in the online application form, upload a recent colour photograph (300 x 300 pixels, max 100 KB) and signature (300 x 80 pixels, max 60 KB), and submit. After submitting, pay the exam fee within 72 hours through the Make Payment button (online banking, banking card or bKash) or the application is cancelled; the admit card can be downloaded after payment. Keep a colour print of the filled application form and hand one copy in at the viva. Online applications open 11 October 2026, 10:00 AM and close 31 October 2026, 5:00 PM.
