CRM Data Scientist

Job description

Abdul Latif Jameel Motors, the Toyota distributor in Saudi Arabia, is hiring a CRM Data Scientist. The role works closely with business units, data stewards, project and program managers and IT teams to turn data into critical information and knowledge for sound organisational decisions. You will model complex business problems, discover insights and identify opportunities through statistical, algorithmic, mining and visualisation techniques, and integrate and prepare large, varied datasets, architect specialised database and computing environments and communicate results.

Salary: SAR 30,000 per month.

Responsibilities

• Work with business units, data stewards, project/program managers and IT teams to turn data into information used for organisational decisions
• Model complex business problems and discover business insights and opportunities using statistical, algorithmic, mining and visualisation techniques
• Integrate and prepare large, varied datasets
• Architect specialised database and computing environments
• Communicate analysis results to stakeholders

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in analytics, statistical modelling and research
• Solid knowledge of statistical techniques and proficiency in statistical packages
• Proficiency in statistical analysis, quantitative analytics, forecasting/predictive analytics, multivariate testing and optimisation algorithms
• Strong programming skills (such as Hadoop MapReduce or other big data frameworks, Java) and statistical modelling (Python, SAS, SPSS or R)
• Knowledge of working with CRM and ERP, preferably SAP, and analytics
• Experience with data visualisation tools such as Xcelsius or Tableau
• Strong knowledge of the structure and content of the English language is a must; English and Arabic preferable
• CAP or SAS certification
