Job description

The office of the Deputy Commissioner (DC), Sherpur, together with the Upazila Nirbahi Officer offices under it and the Circuit House, is recruiting for 6 categories of vacant posts on a temporary basis through direct recruitment from permanent residents of Sherpur district, as per its re-circular dated 12 October 2026 (reference 05.45.8900.000.005.01.0002.26.462). This notice is for 2 posts of Certificate Assistant (Grade 16, National Pay Scale 2026: Tk 21,900 - 52,900). Applications are accepted online only at http://dcsherpur.teletalk.com.bd from 14 October 2026 (12:01 AM) to 4 November 2026 (5:00 PM); applications by post or in person are not accepted. Only permanent residents of Sherpur district may apply, and each candidate may apply for one post only. Age must be 18 to 32 years as of 4 November 2026 (affidavits are not accepted as proof of age). Government, semi-government and autonomous employees must apply with employer permission and bring a No-Objection letter. A written and an oral test will be held, and only candidates who pass the written test are called for the oral test. Candidates who applied under the earlier notice of 3 April 2024 for the same posts need not apply again. Forged documents or false information lead to cancellation of candidature. No TA/DA is paid for the tests. Fee: Tk 100 plus Teletalk service charge Tk 12 (Tk 112 in total) (paid by two SMS from a Teletalk prepaid number within 72 hours of submitting the form; the application is not valid until the fee is paid). Note: applying costs the candidate this SMS fee through the Teletalk recruitment portal.

Requirements

• HSC or equivalent from a recognised board
• Computer operating experience
• Skill in speed and presentation
• Minimum typing speed of 20 words per minute in Bangla and 20 words per minute in English (word processing, data entry and typing)
• Age 18 to 32 years as of 4 November 2026
• Born a citizen of Bangladesh and a permanent resident of Sherpur district (proved by a citizenship certificate from the Union Parishad Chairman, Mayor or City Corporation ward councillor)
• Must not have been dismissed from government service or convicted of a moral-turpitude offence
