Job description

The University of Rajshahi invites online applications from Bangladeshi citizens through job.ru.ac.bd from 1 October 2026 (9:00 AM) to 26 October 2026 (4:00 PM) for 10 posts of Bus Driver (Grade 15, scale Tk 22,800 - 55,200) in its Transport Office (recruitment circular No. 01/2026 (Auxiliary), dated 30 September 2026). The application fee is Tk 500 per post; a candidate applying for more than one post must pay separately for each. Applicants must be Bangladeshi nationals. Shortlisting for the written (and, where applicable, practical) test is by admit card downloaded from the website, only eligible candidates are called to the oral test, and no TA/DA is paid for the written, practical or oral tests. Every applicant must submit a Dope Test report (from a government medical college) with the application. After applying online, print the application and submit 8 sets with all educational certificates, citizenship certificate, national ID and experience certificates to the concerned office by the deadline. Quotas follow government policy. The salary scale is as fixed under the National Pay Scale 2026.

Requirements

• Minimum Class 8 / JSC pass or equivalent
• At least 5 years of experience driving buses, microbuses and other vehicles
• Regular heavy vehicle licence (PSV, HTV) from BRTA, issued at least 2 years before the advertisement date
• Minimum age 20 years; one condition may be relaxed for internal and specially qualified candidates, but the basic educational qualification is required
• Dope Test report from a government medical college must be submitted with the application
• Bangladeshi citizens only; quota follows government rules
