Job description

Baker Hughes' Drilling Services AMO Team assembles and tests the latest drilling equipment, collaborating with service delivery teams in science, mechanical and electrical engineering, physics and geoscience to develop innovative drilling tools.

The role is responsible for maintenance, assembly and manufacturing, providing specialist support in a variety of technical duties to support the maintenance and reliability initiatives of the organization. You will work unsupervised on a range of Drilling & Evaluation down-hole tools and surface instrumentation within the limit of proven competence. Location: KOC Land, Kuwait.

Responsibilities

• Reading and interpreting blueprints, wiring diagrams, assembly prints and parts lists and follow formal procedures and maintenance practices.
• Assisting with activities to ensure repairs, scheduled and preventive maintenance on factory equipment are completed on-time and safely.
• Performing quality assurance activities required by manufacturing or engineering specifications and ISO requirements to ensure compliance.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams and customers to provide technical guidance and troubleshooting knowledge.

Requirements

• Have diploma or any relevant degree
• Have 5+ years maintenance related experience in electro-mechanical drilling function
• Have previous experience with Baker Hughes (preferred)
• Display an advanced mechanical aptitude and experience with general hand tools and precision measuring equipment
• Demonstrate the ability to identify problems and be able to develop solutions.
