Alokito Hridoy Foundation (AHF) is a nonprofit organisation committed to delivering equitable, quality, 21st century education to nurture creative and enlightened generations. Alokito Teachers (AT) is a technology enabled teacher professional development platform dedicated to improving teaching quality and student learning outcomes. We support schools and educators through research informed training, classroom observation, coaching, and digital learning resources.

Role overview: We are seeking experienced educators with strong subject knowledge in Mathematics and/or Science, expertise in Cambridge curriculum frameworks, and proven experience in teacher professional development. The successful candidates will design and facilitate training programmes, develop instructional resources, and support schools in improving teaching practices and student learning outcomes.

Location: House 127, Road 1, Avenue 3, Mirpur DOHS, Dhaka 1216.

Terms of employment: Full Time or Part Time (both positions available). Working days: Sunday to Thursday. Working hours: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM (Full Time). Compensation: competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience.

• Professional Development: design and facilitate research informed, Cambridge curriculum aligned teacher training programmes focusing on Mathematics, Science, student centred pedagogy, differentiated instruction, and effective assessment
• Curriculum & Instructional Design: review curricula and develop training modules, lesson plans, worksheets, demonstration videos, and digital learning resources for the Alokito Teachers platform
• Teacher Coaching: conduct classroom observations, provide constructive feedback, and mentor teachers to strengthen instructional practices
• School Engagement: collaborate with school leaders and teachers to identify professional development needs, instructional gaps, and design customised training interventions
• Research & Quality Assurance: apply educational research and best practices to ensure the quality, relevance, and effectiveness of training programmes
• Monitoring & Evaluation: assess training outcomes through teacher feedback, classroom observations, and student performance indicators, recommending improvements where necessary

যোগ্যতা

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mathematics, Science, Education, or a related discipline, with a recognised teaching qualification (B.Ed, PGCE, PGDE, QTS, or equivalent)
• Minimum 5 years of teaching experience in Cambridge curriculum schools, with strong subject knowledge and pedagogical expertise in Mathematics and/or Science
• Minimum 2 years of experience designing and delivering teacher professional development programmes
• Sound understanding of Cambridge curriculum frameworks, instructional practices, and assessment approaches
• Excellent English communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills
• Preferred: Cambridge Professional Development Qualification (PDQ) in Teaching and Learning or Educational Leadership
• Preferred: experience as a Cambridge trainer, examiner, PDQ Programme Leader, or academic coordinator
• Preferred: experience in instructional coaching, classroom observation, and teacher performance assessment
• Preferred: experience developing digital learning resources and integrating educational technology into teaching and professional development
• Preferred: training or experience in inclusive education and differentiated instruction
