ScholarLabs AI is building a cloud-based virtual research lab to help students, early-career researchers, educators and academic communities move from curiosity to structured research progress. The Research Supervisor will guide research activities, support researchers and interns, maintain academic quality, and help turn ideas into clear, evidence-based outcomes across research planning, literature review, methodology support, quality assurance, documentation, mentorship and collaboration with internal and academic stakeholders.

Who can apply: university faculty members with research supervision, academic mentoring or research leadership experience; PhD holders with demonstrated experience in research, publication, methodology or researcher development; ongoing PhD students with strong research experience who are ready to support and supervise emerging researchers.

Compensation as stated in the posting: 50/50 profit share from Virtual Labs.

• Guide researchers, research assistants and interns from topic selection to final output
• Help refine broad interests into focused, feasible and meaningful research questions
• Review research plans, timelines, milestones and expected deliverables
• Support the selection of appropriate research designs, methods, populations and data sources
• Supervise literature searches, source discovery, screening and synthesis
• Review search strategies, keywords, Boolean queries, inclusion criteria and exclusion criteria
• Help researchers evaluate source credibility, methodological quality, relevance and limitations
• Review research outputs for clarity, consistency, methodological soundness and evidence quality
• Check citations, references, source attribution and documentation standards
• Promote responsible research practices, including ethical handling of data and appropriate disclosure of AI-assisted research tools
• Provide constructive, specific and actionable feedback to researchers and interns
• Conduct regular research check-ins, progress reviews and methods discussions
• Develop templates, checklists, guides and training materials for common research tasks
• Present research progress, findings, risks and recommendations in meetings and written reports
• Contribute to research-focused content, workshops, webinars and community learning activities
• Improve internal research workflows, review processes and knowledge-management systems

যোগ্যতা

• Master's degree or equivalent experience in a research-intensive field such as social science, education, public health, business, data science, computer science or engineering
• Demonstrated experience conducting, supervising, reviewing or coordinating research projects
• Strong understanding of literature review, research question development, methodology, evidence evaluation and academic writing
• Ability to assess the credibility, relevance and limitations of research sources
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
• Excellent organization, time management, documentation and follow-through
• Ability to give clear feedback and mentor researchers with different levels of experience
• High standards for research integrity, accuracy, confidentiality and responsible communication
• Preferred: experience supervising research assistants, interns, students or multidisciplinary teams
• Preferred: experience with qualitative, quantitative, mixed-methods or evidence-synthesis research
• Preferred: familiarity with reference-management tools, literature databases and responsible AI use in research
