British American Tobacco Bangladesh has an opportunity for a Stewardship Officer in Rangpur within its Operations function (Leaf Operations). The role is permanent and non-management. The Stewardship Officer conducts regular field visits and engages directly with farmers in the assigned territory, carries out stewardship, governance and compliance activities, audits adherence to operational standards, analyses field and operational data, prepares reports, keeps accurate records, and supports sustainability and leaf operations initiatives, balancing field-based work with office-based reporting. দায়িত্ব

• Conduct regular field visits and engage directly with farmers within the assigned territory
• Perform stewardship, governance and compliance-related activities
• Carry out audits and monitor adherence to operational standards
• Analyse field and operational data and prepare reports
• Maintain accurate records and documentation
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to drive operational excellence
• Support sustainability and leaf operations initiatives
• Balance field-based responsibilities with office-based reporting and analysis

যোগ্যতা

• Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Agricultural Engineering, Agricultural Economics, Soil Science, Microbiology, Biotechnology or a related science discipline
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply; up to 4 years of relevant experience preferred
• Strong analytical, auditing and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office
• Excellent communication skills in both Bangla and English
• Strong stakeholder management and interpersonal skills
• Willingness to travel extensively and work in field environments
• Valid driving license and willingness to ride a motorbike within the assigned territory
• Ability to adapt, learn quickly and work independently
