The Office of the Commissioner of Taxes, Taxes Zone-6, Dhaka (209/A-B Shaheed Syed Nazrul Islam Sarani, Purana Paltan, Dhaka; www.taxeszone6.gov.bd), under the Internal Resources Division of the Ministry of Finance, is recruiting on a temporary basis for vacant posts from Grade 13 to Grade 20 under the general quota, from permanent residents of Dhaka district (circular dated 18 October 2026, reference 1-E-8/Misc (Part-3)/2026-2027/1067). This notice is for 9 posts of Stenotypist cum Computer Operator (Grade 14, scale Tk 23,500 - 56,800). Applications are accepted online at https://tax6.teletalk.com.bd from 25 October 2026 (10:00 AM) to 14 November 2026 (4:00 PM). Age must be 18 to 32 years as of 1 October 2026 (affidavits are not accepted as proof of age). Government, semi-government and autonomous employees must apply with their authority's permission; those already in the tax department apply as Departmental Candidates and must submit a No-Objection letter at the viva. Quotas follow the latest government policy. A written, a practical and an oral test will be held for this post; only candidates who pass the written and practical tests are eligible for the oral test. A candidate who is not a Bangladeshi citizen or domiciled in Bangladesh, or who is convicted of a moral-turpitude offence, is ineligible. Forged documents or false information lead to cancellation of candidature at any stage. At the viva, candidates must show originals with attested photocopies and two recent colour photographs, including educational certificates, the citizenship certificate, the character certificate and a copy of the Applicant's Copy and Admit Card. No TA/DA is paid for the written, practical or oral tests, only one post may be applied for, and the authority may amend or cancel the circular or change the number of posts. Applicants upload a colour photo (300 x 300 pixels, max 100 KB) and signature (300 x 80 pixels, max 60 KB) online. Fee: Tk 112 plus Teletalk service charge, paid through two SMS messages (TAX6 USER ID, then TAX6 YES PIN to 16222) within 72 hours of receiving the User ID; the application is not accepted until the fee is paid. Note that applying through Teletalk requires paying this SMS fee.

• Bachelor degree in any subject from a recognised university with at least second class or equivalent CGPA
• Shorthand speed of at least 70 words per minute in English and 45 words per minute in Bangla
• Computer typing speed of at least 30 words per minute in English and 25 words per minute in Bangla
• Skill and experience in computer word processing, e-mail and fax machine operation
• Age 18 to 32 years as of 1 October 2026
• Permanent resident of Dhaka district
• Government/semi-government/autonomous employees must apply through proper channel; departmental candidates must carry a No-Objection letter to the viva
• Application fee Tk 112 (including Teletalk service charge), paid by SMS within 72 hours of getting the User ID
