SYSTRA, an international consulting and engineering group specialising in public transport and mobility, is collecting applications in Dhaka for the position of Signalling and Telecommunications Lead Specialist. Currently, we are bidding for Bangladesh Railways projects across India. The position of Signalling and Telecommunications Lead Specialist is the key position in these BIDs. The role is advertised as a key position in SYSTRA's bids for Bangladesh Railways projects and is offered on a contract basis. Duties include: Report to the Chief Resident Engineer (Railway System);; Manage and supervise all Specialist staff related to the Signalling and Telecommunications, PAS and PIS;; Be responsible for supervising the design, installation, commissioning and testing of the signalling and telecommunications system, including the train operation control system;; Review and check the Contractor(s)’ design of the train control system, including the signalling and telecommunications system of the entire project, in accordance with the Employer’s Requirements;; Supervise the installation's progress, conduct inspections for quality, quantity, and safety, and check the maintainability of the system, facilities, and equipment;; Assist the Client in testing and commissioning on completion of thetrain control system;.

দায়িত্ব

• Report to the Chief Resident Engineer (Railway System);
• Manage and supervise all Specialist staff related to the Signalling and Telecommunications, PAS and PIS;
• Be responsible for supervising the design, installation, commissioning and testing of the signalling and telecommunications system, including the train operation control system;
• Review and check the Contractor(s)’ design of the train control system, including the signalling and telecommunications system of the entire project, in accordance with the Employer’s Requirements;
• Supervise the installation's progress, conduct inspections for quality, quantity, and safety, and check the maintainability of the system, facilities, and equipment;
• Assist the Client in testing and commissioning on completion of thetrain control system;
• Assist Interface Management Lead Specialist in interface management issues;
• Assist in resolving actual and potential claims from the Contractor(s) during the manufacturing, installation, testing, and commissioning stages;
• Assist in System integration for the Railway System and Any other jobs the Chief Resident Engineer (Railway System) assigns.

যোগ্যতা

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• 15 years of professional experience
• Must have proficiency in English
• 10 years of professional experience in signalling and telecommunications, including one large-scale (preferably >USD 0.5 billion) underground/ elevatedmetro rail project
• 2 years of work experience in outside Expert’s country
