Wood is looking for a Senior Engineering Systems Engineer to support growth in its expanding Qatar business, on a long-term assignment. The projects team delivers FEED, Pre-FEED, brownfield and greenfield scopes for onshore and offshore oil and gas clients.

The role is central to Wood's digital transformation. It connects the company's core digital tools to business needs, drives growth through the practical use of technology, and acts as the business focal point for digital initiatives, turning business needs into digital projects that deliver results.

দায়িত্ব

• Keep IDT (digital) and business strategies aligned and connect core digital enablers to business needs
• Provide digital knowledge, expertise and leadership across the business
• Act as the digital interface for IDT services to the business
• Stay aligned with product managers and IDT business partners so the business gets one consistent message
• Act as business focal and escalation point for digital initiatives
• Build cross-functional relationships across the business, IDT and partner organisations to identify and deliver opportunities
• Keep up with new and emerging technologies and how they could support the digital strategy
• Co-create and drive the technology plan for Wood's key solutions and digital product lines

যোগ্যতা

• Well established industry reputation, typically 10 years of experience
• Strong business acumen and commercial awareness
• Able to think strategically while staying practical
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Knowledge of business processes, data and IT systems in industrial and corporate environments
• Strong understanding of business and technology trends and how data-driven insights improve decisions
• Experience contributing to engineering discussions, technology decisions and strategy for client-facing products
• Experience in cross-functional teams, influencing stakeholders, clients and partners
