As a Prospector, you are the front-line hunter of the global purchasing pipeline. You will use market insights to scan leads, qualify suppliers, and initiate relationships to open new doors for the global buying process. The role offers a clear career path to becoming an International Buyer.

• Market prospecting: identify new suppliers via the internet, trade fairs, magazines and international databases
• Supplier assessment: evaluate potential suppliers based on cost, time, quality and reliability
• Work with internationals: engage with suppliers from various countries, ensuring clear and effective communication
• Coordinate with internal teams: collaborate with the sales and logistics teams to ensure smooth procurement and delivery
• Data management: build and maintain qualified supplier files for the global database

যোগ্যতা

• Education: Bachelor's or master's degree in Business, Trading, Procurement management, or a related field
• Experience: candidates with a proven track record in Sourcing, Sales or Trading are strongly encouraged; outbound sales, business development, sourcing specialist or market development experience is highly relevant
• Commercial mindset: a strong understanding of commercial principles and the ability to think strategically about procurement and sales
• English proficiency: excellent spoken English to communicate with international suppliers
• Excel skills: effective use of Excel or similar tools to manage data sheets and stock information accurately
• Interpersonal skills, negotiation skills, adaptability and a high level of professionalism and confidentiality
